The Lightforce BEAST Universal Wiring Harness (LFDLHBEAST-U) is the dedicated harness engineered specifically for the BEAST, designed to unlock and operate all three of the BEAST's lighting modes from the comfort of your cabin. It's not a generic driving light harness — it's the correct harness, built from the ground up to match the BEAST's smart electronics. The BEAST driving light isn't a simple on/off light — it operates in three distinct modes that deliver very different beam patterns and power outputs depending on what the terrain and conditions demand:

The LFDLHBEAST-U makes this as painless as it gets: a single 8mm moulded 8-pin connector passes through the firewall to connect the engine bay harness to the cabin switch loom. At just 8mm in diameter, it fits through a small grommet or existing hole without modification on most vehicles, and the single connection point means there's only one thing to thread through instead of multiple wires.

HB3 and H4 Patch Harnesses Included — Fits Most Australian 4x4s

The kit includes both HB3 and H4 headlight patch harnesses, which cover the headlight connector types found on the vast majority of popular Australian 4x4s and utes — Hilux, Ranger, Patrol, LandCruiser, D-MAX, Triton, BT-50, Amarok, and many more. Simply select the patch harness that matches your vehicle's headlight connector, plug it in, and connect the three wires to the corresponding bullet terminals on the driving light harness. For vehicles not running HB3 or H4 connectors, the included T-taps and spade terminals cover direct wire connections to any headlight circuit.

BEAST Smart Rocker Switch Included — Two Mounting Options

The included BEAST Smart Rocker Switch gives in-cabin control of all three operating modes and can be installed in two configurations to suit your vehicle:

• Universal panel mount — mounts to any dashboard surface via the included adhesive backing. Works in any vehicle, no modifications required. Wiring can be surface-routed or hidden through a 10mm hole behind the switch for a cleaner finish.
• TY2 OEM-style in-dash switch — snaps into a spare switch slot in the dash for a factory-integrated look on compatible vehicles. Scans a QR code in the instructions to check TY2 compatibility for your specific vehicle.

40A Relay and 40A Fuse — Rated for BEAST's Full Output

The BEAST pushes serious current — up to 13 amps per light at 13.2V in BEAST mode, meaning a pair of lights can draw over 26 amps combined. The harness is built around a 40-amp relay and 40-amp fuse, properly rated for the BEAST's maximum draw without running the lights through your vehicle's factory headlight circuit. Your OEM wiring stays completely protected — the relay does the switching, not your headlight switch.

DRL Capability — Optional Daytime Running Light Function

The harness includes a brown ignition pickup wire that, when connected to a switched ignition source, enables the BEAST's Daytime Running Light function — keeping your driving lights active at reduced output during daylight hours for increased visibility to oncoming traffic. If you prefer not to run DRL, simply leave the brown wire disconnected and secured — no impact on any other functionality.
